Growing up in the picturesque city of Delft, The Netherlands, as a youngster Aidan only had to walk as far as to his living room to see a piano. His mother, who is of Irish descent, always spoke lots of English around the house and it was through her that Aidan got introduced to traditional Irish folk music. Music soon became his escape as he experienced a sense of freedom when playing music; no longer did he have to be accountable to others as he could channel all his creativity, fun and honesty into his songs.

In 2013 he decided to study vocal performance and songwriting at the Codarts conservatory in Rotterdam, and soon after he started playing in different bands. After getting surgery on his vocal cords in May 2014 he decided to pursue a solo career as an artist and was asked to join the Dutch TV Show “Best Singer/Songwriter of Holland.” Shortly after he signed with CTM Publishing and started releasing music with many well-known electronic music artists including Girls Love DJs, Sophie Francis, Justin Mylo, Firebeatz, Jay Hardway, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Felix Jaehn.

But not all that glitters is gold and Aidan’s newfound success also brought social pressure and anxiety as he had to cope with the stress that comes with other people’s perceptions and expectations. Again using his music as therapy, he is gradually accepting that there is nothing wrong with moving at your own pace. Having written for many artists over the past years, he is slowly getting ready to release his own music, drawing inspiration from John Mayer, Lauv, Shawn Mendes and Jeremy Zucker.
